Most of us can attest to the white-knuckle power of The Prodigy live. After leaving us shaken at Future Music Festival in 2010, the dance legends are now headed to our cinema screens. On Thursday 7 April for one day only, The Prodigy’s sure-to-be-incendiary concert film World’s On Fire will screen in full surround sound at select Hoyts cinemas.

As we detailed earlier this month, the film documents the group’s biggest show to date, playing to 65,000 mad fans at their own Warrior’s Dance Festival at Milton Keynes Bowl in the UK last year. By the time The Prodigy took the stage, the crowd had already been amped by Pendulum, Chase & Status and punk outfit Gallows, so it’s not a surprise it looks completely unhinged.

The audio for World’s On Fire was audio engineered by the band themselves in 5.1 surround sound. The set-list spans 17 tracks, including the hallowed likes of Firestarter, Breathe and Out Of Space, so we expect you’ll be springing out of your seat in no time.

Here’s where you can catch World’s On Fire on Thursday 7 April. Check the Hoyts website for screening times.
