Following on from the news that Big Boi had announced a New Zealand show, the rapper and one-half of acclaimed duo Outkast has announced an Australian tour.

The gigs will see the rapper perform with a full band, playing both Outkast songs and material from his critically acclaimed solo album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty from 2010 which ITM big-upped in our review.

Big Boi was last on our shores in November 2010 to launch the racing videogame Need for Speed Hot Pursuit with a solo show in Sydney, and before that as part of the Winterbeatz festival with Ne-Yo, T-Pain and the dude Fatman Scoop.

As an added bonus Big Boi will be joined on all the below dates by rising Brooklyn MC Theophilus London. It’s like a stick of double mint gum!
