Chris Colonna’s screwy Braidwood-based electronic project Bumblebeez has been seriously quiet since the release of Prince Umberto and the Sister of Ill back in 2007, but that’s all about the change as new Bumblebeez music emerges in 2011.

The first taste of what’s ahead has come in a teaser clip posted by the band which previews their upcoming EP on Bang Gang 12 Inches entitled I’m A Cowboi. As with anything Bumblebeez, the EP teaser contains an ocean of messed up sounds with computerised narration getting jiggy with some oddball beats and some Ennio Morricone-on-a-Gameboy style electronics.
