After steadily burning through your hard-earned, the dance festival ‘season’ is finally taking a breather. The festivalling marathon rounded out on a high note with two weekends of Creamfields, headlined in truly bombastic fashion by Deadmau5 and his towering Rubik’s Cube.

Skrillex proved he’s fast becoming a superstar with no-holds-barred sets in each city, while special mention has to go to the techno masterclass from Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May and expert crowd-pleasing from Chuckie and Martin Solveig. Naturally, everyone will have their own highlights!

For the artists, Creamfields really is just one big travelling party – something we witnessed first-hand backstage in Sydney. We were there to catch all the onstage action for inthemix.tv, while also bailing up a selection of the line-up’s stars to talk shop. Our crew heard how Skrillex was planning to “bazooka” the crowd, why Wynter Gordon loves the “family” vibe on tour, and much more from behind-the-scenes.
