With the local club scene still under scrutiny from industry insiders and dance music fans wary to venture out every weekend, there’s nothing like a shot in the arm to shake things up and that’s exactly what Sydney is about to receive with the birth of new weekly club night, Genesis, as dreamt up by local promoters Silver Entertainment.

Setting up shop at Oxford street’s Gypsy Nightclub, Genesis will descend on Sydney’s trance and progressive community each Friday night, with local heroes Thomas Knight, Nick Arbor, Scott Richardson, Toby Matrix, VLN and Krish Titan steering the ship as Genesis’ resident DJs.

So we’ve got you on the hook and now you wanna know when all the fun starts for real, right? Well, mark Friday June 17th down in you calendar as a night for lasers and euphoric tunes as that’s Genesis’ official launch.

To cast the club night off in style the Genesis crew has secured epic trance twosome Binary Finary, backing up after a slot on the Future Music Festival tour just the other month. While that’s a pretty immense beginning for Genesis, the crew have assured ITM that it’s just the tip of the trance-berg with a whole bunch of internationals booked in the weeks beyond the official launch including Tritonal, Lange and Solarstone.
