With DJs and producers doing their bit to stick out from the pack with conceptually driven performance setups ranging from oversized holograms monst to giant initials it was only a matter of time before one of our own got in on the act with their own out of the box take.

Enter Nick Thayer. The local hero has been carving it up behind the decks for as long as our memory’s have served up (admittedly that’s a bit spotty) and now the DJ/producer dude is stepping up his game with a brand new audio/visual production that offers goods for both the ears and the eyes.

Having developed the concept throughout 2010, Thayer’s now showing his baby off on a big tour that finds him taking in an array of club dates around the country as well as scooting off to visit the kiwis in the middle. He’s joined on all the dates by designer and artist collaborator Sevenmilligram.
