We love a good collaboration, don’t you too? Like peas and carrots. Or Spider-Man and Wolverine. And of course there’s the myriad of production collaborations in the dance music industry. Now we’ve got news on the latest hook up with local heroes and nationally voted #1 Australian DJs The Aston Shuffle set to hit the studio with UK electro star Grum.

The news comes from Grum himself who spoke to inthemix this week in anticipation of his national club tour in July, with the UK young gun confirming that he’s got some studio time booked with the Astons when he arrives next month.

“I’m looking forward to seeing The Aston Shuffle guys,” Grum told inthemix when asked of the potential highlights of his July visit. “Last time I was there I met up with them [playing the Parklife 2010 tour], so we’re going to go into the studio and see what comes out of that. I think they’re great producers so it’ll be interesting to see what happens.”

While this meeting will mark the first ‘proper’ collaboration between the club forces Grum and The Aston Shuffle previously took part in some mutual remix love with the Canberra duo taking on Can’t Shake This Feeling and Grum mixing Your Love. Hear them both below and check out Grum’s July club dates.
