Drum and bass fans have been left waiting for an agonising five years to see UK legend Goldie return to our clubs after leaving us thoroughly exhausted with his last tour in 2006. The wait is thankfully over though as ITM can confirm the D&B godfather is due back here in September!

Dropping in for four big dates across the country as spring begins to show this year, Goldie will be repping his latest release, Fabric 58, a decidedly banging mix prepared for vaunted compilation series Fabric.

“This music – this wildstyle music – is not for the faint-hearted,” the Metalheadz label boss enthused about his Fabric mix. “I tried to get the alchemy right, which I’ve done on this mix: each of these are standalone tunes. It is dynamic, it does take you from one extreme to the other, because for me that’s what my life is like. It’ll be bikram yoga one morning, then DJing long into the night. Everything is balanced, not too much of one thing. When I think of the D&B tunes on this mix, I think of them as spiritual euphoria, like I’ve been lifted out of something.”
