Remember the old saying ‘two heads are better than one’? Well that also applies to festivals. And that’s essentially what you’re getting with the behemoth Summafieldayze bash that’s set to descend on the Goldie next January 3rd, with the combined booking powers of local promoters Future Entertainment and Fuzzy melding their Summadayze and Field Day festivals into one absolute monster of a day out.
Such pulling power always brings together a particularly bananas lineup for Summafieldayze and the 2012 installment is no exception with superstars from all across the dance spectrum coming together for some festival fun. In charge of the action this year is none other than Australia’s biggest bass export Pendulum, who’ll be fresh from conquering overseas audiences with their Immersion album and ready to tear up summer.
Also on hand are a cast of festival-favourite-faces including Snoop Dogg, Sasha, Erick Morillo, Calvin Harris, Busy P, Grandmaster Flash and even Moby in rare DJ-mode. Lovers of womping bass will be amped to see the strong low-end lineup featuring Stanton Warriors, Flying Lotus, 12th Planet and both Skream and Benga. Wowza!
