THE 2012 FUTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL LINE-UP HAS JUST LANDED – CHECK IT OUT HERE!

It was just a couple of days ago that we dropped the stonkingly good Summadayze and Summafieldayze festival lineups in your laps and already the rumour mill is churning about local super promoter Future Entertainment’s next big bash – Future Music Festival.

Set to return to the Australian festival circuit in summer 2012, the forthcoming edition of Future Music Festival may have just received a major injection of cowbell lovin’ courtesy of New York disco rockers The Rapture who have revealed their own appearance at the festival.

“It hasn’t been announced yet but I think in March hopefully we’ll be back for Future,” the band’s Luke Jenner told triple j magazine this week about their return to the country. “I don’t think I’m technically supposed to tell you that so let’s just keep that between you, me and the rest of Australia.”

The FMF slot would make perfect sense given next month’s release of The Rapture’s Modular released LP In The Grace Of Your Love as well as their obvious fondness for playing at our big summer festivals.

“I can’t wait to get back,” Jenner continued in the interview. “I mean Australia has kept me alive for the last 5 years and kept food on the table for me and my family. So I have a deep respect for Australia and the people and it’s just so much fun to play there.”
