With barely a pause after Robag Wruhme and Tommy Four Seven wowed Brown Alley, smalltown has announced a big party for summer. On Friday 16 December, Billboard will host a triple-bill of house and techno talent that’ll keep the dancefloor grooving till the wee hours. Leading the way is the mighty Octave One, whose live show lit up Sydney Festival in early 2011 and will now make it to Melbourne for a serious heads-down session.

Joining the Burden brothers on the night will be vocalist and tech-house star Fritz Kalkbrenner, showcasing his deep catalogue of originals and remixes. Completing the line-up is Berlin-based deep house impresario John Roberts, who’ll round out the musical mix in style. Local heads Tornado Wallace and Dave Pham are in support. This is one to put in the diary nice and early.
