Adding more weight to its reputation as Australia’s capital of all things cool, organisers have today announced the 2011 program for the Melbourne Music Week. Boasting the absolutely ridiculous number of 170 music acts, the performances will take place between November 18 and 26.
ITMers take note – the open air venue KUBIK will be hosting a number of alluring dance acts, including DJ Krush, The Gaslamp Killer, Daedelus, Wax Tailor and a three hour DJ set from Cut Copy and The Midnight Juggernauts. Some of the other 165 acts performing include Gotye (ditching his moniker and performing as Wally de Backer) and Spiral Stairs (aka Pavement). Nationwide jealousy ensues. There is so, so much more happening at Melbourne Music Week this November, so for the full rundown head to their website.
