Sydney’s super-venue Ivy is looking set to host one hell of a New Year period. Recently, Eric Morillo was announced for their NYE bash, and now, Ministry of Sound Classics will be taking over on New Years Day.
Touted as one of Australia’s best New Years Day parties, Ministry of Sound Classics will be putting on its sixth annual instalment come January 1. This time around, they’ve got a bevy of esteemed house, electro and break artists – including Tonite Only, Bang Gang Dee Jays and Kid Kenobi in the Courtyard. Atop that, there’s a whole heap of great local artists, like Tim McGee, Ping Pong DJs, James Taylor and Shamus.
Over in The Den, Mark Murphy, Simon Caldwell, Nick Law and Trent Rackus will be behind the decks. Sounds like a very stylish start 2012 indeed.
Tickets go on sale November 9 through Moshtix, starting at just $44.95.
