If there’s anyone you want to learn about DJing and production from, it’s arguably Ministry of Sound. Now, you can do just that – the MOS have announced that they’re opening the door to their first ever DJ and production academy in Sydney.
It’s definitely an alluring prospect – you can learn from the best, on the snazziest equipment and meet industry big names first hand.
The best part of this news is that inthemix is giving away a place at the Academy’s first ever Beginners Ableton Course. The four-week Ableton course teaches you how to make your first track, teaching you everything you need to know about EQ, compressing a kick drum, warping, recording, processing vocals and more.
If this sounds like something you’re into, head over here and tell us in 25 words or less who your dance music production idol is and why.
If that wasn’t tantalising enough for you, coming next week we’ll be giving ITMers an opportunity to get involved with Tommy Trash and High Rankin, giving an electronic and dubstep production class. Nice!
