Regular festival-goers may already be familiar with the V Energy Green Room initiative – a travelling stage bringing new DJs and a unique atmosphere to festivals around the country.

This summer, the V Energy Green Room returns and will be hitting Big Day Out Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, Summadayze Melbourne and Future Music Festival Brisbane and Sydney. In contrast to your typical daylight-swamped festival stage, The Green Room is darkened, illuminated only by a laser light show – à la the original underground dance club era.

Atop that, this year will also see the debut of V Energy Club in a Can – which combines all the best elements of a nightclub…in a can. Powered by the energy of dance, audio and lighting levels are generated in response to the intensity of Can-goers movements. The harder you dance, the better the light show! There’s two cans that can each fit four people, with prizes on offer for whichever team does the best job – yes, this is a dance off. The V Energy Club in a Can will be putting on its Footloose-esque display at Summadayze Perth, Big Day Out Melbourne and Adelaide and Future Music Festival Perth and Melbourne.
