2011 may have been a stellar year for trance between tours from Armin van Buuren, Above and Beyond and Jochen Miller, but the steady string of visitors doesn’t seem to be slowing down in 2012.

First, Kyau & Albert announced January shows and now, Israeli psytrance producers Infected Mushroom have revealed that they’ll be setting off on an Australian tour as soon as next month.

Duo Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani were last here for Stereosonic 2010, so the pair are definitely due another visit. Ready to preview new material from their forthcoming album Army of Mushrooms, Infected Mushroom will be smashing out a 90 minute live set followed by a 60 minute DJ set, fusing trance, psychedelia, rocktronics and even a bit of dubstep. How’s that sound?

But it’s not just Infected Mushroom you can expect to see. At the Sydney show, German Ronski Speed is also along for the ride is and there’s Lui Raptor, Ozzy and Keirra Jade (among others) in for support. Melbourne fans can look forward to the likes of Ben Evans, Terrafractyl and Ozzy, to name a few.

Tickets are available via Ticketek now.

Infected Mushroom tour dates:

Friday February 17 – Palace Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday February 18 – Metro Theatre, Sydney
