As regulars will know, the inthemix Sydney forum has long been a treasure trove of time-wasting potential, arguments about Detroit techno, in-jokes and, yes, the occasional party thread without a What’s On approved. This Saturday 21 January, the Sydney forum will come to life at Valve Bar in Tempe so we can all put names to avatars.
There’s unlikely to be dogs, but there will be plenty of DJ talent from inthemix’s very own gene pool. The line-up includes Smokin Joe Mekhael – fresh from his world-record-breaking DJ set and tasked with an ‘underground music only’ challenge – and forum regular Young Jase celebrating 20 years of DJing. It’s only $5 by donation to cover costs, and the party is taking over the outdoor section of Valve Bar, so let’s hope for sunshine!
To get you in the mood, hit play on this mix from Young Jase, described as “a mix of luscious, deep, melodic, progressive house, made for lazy summer days/nights”. Perfect for a forum party, then!
