While the verdict is still out on whether Jersey Shore is coming to the Gold Coast to shoot a future season, we can at least console ourselves with news of a DJ tour from…no, not Pauly D… Ronnie Magro! The MTV cast member is here in March for a whirlwind club tour to spread the guido message. Some of Australia’s most prestigious venues are putting their opera program on hold for one night only to host the cultural dignitary.
Ronnie’s not travelling alone, though. His “Jersey Laundry clothing label partner” DJ Fingaz (the DJ Aero to Ronnie’s Tommy Lee, perhaps?) is also coming along to help steer things. DJ Fingaz’ website describes him as “your favourite DJ’s favourite DJ” (seriously, ask Digweed this weekend), and you might remember him from the Xzibit tour last year. In the shrewd words of Ronnie himself: “Get ready to party, get out there, get filthy, creepy and weird.”
