Cult R&B star Frank Ocean will no longer be appearing at Future Music Festival next month. Here’s the statement from the Future camp: “Future Entertainment are sad to announce that due to the delay of his debut album, Frank Ocean will no longer feature on the Future Music Festival bill this March.
“Information received from his management advises that his commitment to the album, and creation of the right live show is paramount and he sends his deepest apologies that these plans have taken longer than anticipated. We are assured that new dates will be forthcoming and Future look forward to announcing these when the information is available to us. Future Music Festival begins its epic journey throughout the country next week.”
So far the breakdown of the Future Music Festival stages includes the DFA camp throwing their own party, Paul van Dyk leading the Evolution arena, techno revelry in The Likes Of You tent, New Order and co. on the live stage and the Ear Storm charge led by Knife Party.
