Richie Hawtin brings Plastikman to MUTEK
One of the international festivals that usually stirs up envy amongst foreigners – we included it on our 15 Festivals To Do Before You Die list, we rate it so highly – is Canada’s MUTEK festival.
This year’s festival is set to go down on June 1st to the 5th in Quebec, and as well as a lineup that already features Four Tet, James Holden, Amon Tobin and Modeselektor, MUTEK has now added Richie Hawtin to proceedings. He’ll be doling out the technical (and technological) awesomeness under his Plastikman guise, and as anyone who caught that oversized live show in Australia on the Future Music Festival tour can attest, it’ll be damn good.
