"Back to the roots": Martyn reveals album details
As we revealed a few weeks back, Dutch maestro Martyn has a new album Ghost People due in October on Brainfeeder. Now there’s cover art and a tracklisting to make it official. The producer has also offered a few words of wisdom on his creation in the press notes.
“For this album, I chose things that are further away from me: the ‘ghost people’ theme. There are references to DJing in general,” he writes. “Not the jetset DJ life, but the old Paradise Garage DJ life, where people want to share and play the music they really love, regardless of if it’s trendy. Nothing fancy or flashy. Just back to the roots.”
