Brit techno don Dave Clarke revealed he’s got no plans to stop wearing eye makeup since embracing the electro fashion last year, telling Onion magazine (Australia) this week, ‘I’ve always toyed with it, I’ve just never had to guts to do it before.’ The notoriously individualistic Brighton jock started wearing kohl after getting divorced last year and admitted he’s been surprised by some of the reactions he’s provoked amongst some of his less open-minded techno peers. “It’s really interesting how these supposedly left-wing, all-encompassing techno people actually find it ‘make-up” quite shocking,” he revealed. “Really what they find shocking is their own reaction to the fact that it’s slightly ambiguous on the sexuality side, and they can’t deal with that themselves,” he suggested.
