!!! (Chk Chk Chk) guitarist Mario Andreoni chatted to Skrufff this week about the hotly tipped New York band’s controversial new single Pardon My Freedom and admitted that he now wishes they’d changed the line, ‘You can tell the President to suck my fucking dick’.
“With Reagan passing away this week and the country still in mourning, I think it would have had more of an impact if we’d said, ‘Reagan, suck my dick’,” Mario quipped. “I think even Republicans have acknowledged that George Bush has fucked up, and even though they still have to follow the party’s politics, I don’t think the line as it is, would cause much offence at present,” he suggested. “Everybody agrees Bush is fair game, people have recognised that he’s not a good representative for the USA.”
