Heineken’s Found@Thirst makes its return to world renowned superclub Zouk in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with Asia’s first ever regional DJ showdown. 19 Found@Thirst winners in their respective nations, including Australia’s Andrew Padula, will slug it out for the title of Found@Thirst Asia’s Winner.
Presiding at the grand final will be an esteemed Heineken panel of judges, consisting of Pete Tong, Miss Motif and Danielle Davoli, who will bestow the much sought after title at the grand final on the 20th November 2004. Andrew Padula, who will be Australia’s representative, will first appear at the semi-finals in the Singapore.
Held in honour to Malaysia’s thriving clubbing scene, the panel of judges will also perform at what is touted as the biggest Asian regional DJ competition. Heineken’s Found@Thirst DJ search has proved a huge success uncovering superb local talent and kick starting the careers of super DJs across the globe in its two year history.
The semi-finals will take place across six cities, in five countries with Thailand kicking it off on September 16, Malaysia on October 9th, Taiwan on October 16th, Singapore on October 23rd and Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City on October 26th and Hanoi on October 29th.
