Australian trio Infusion, previously scheduled to play in Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Tent this weekend at Creamfields Festival in Liverpool have now been moved to play on the main stage this Saturday.
Generally the main stage slot is reserved for the biggest names in dance music or the most hotly tipped up and comers. This move comes as a welcome surprise with Infusion sharing the stage with Basement Jaxx, Audio Bullies and set to perform directly before Faithless in the early evening.
Creamfields is estimating a turnout of over 40,000 punters this weekend at their annual festival. In addition, Infusion will also perform the next day at Tribal Gathering’s Acid Warehouse party and within the next few weeks the boys are set to play several shows across the UK including Supercharged (Brighton), Cargo (London) and Medicine Bar (Birmingham) before returning home to Australia to play select and intimate club shows in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
