Nick Thayer, Basskleph and Dopamine take out awards at Breakspoll!

Australia’s position as a breeding ground in the world of breakbeat talent was solidified overnight at the annual Breakspoll awards with Australian producers Nick Thayer, Basskleph and Dopamine taking home the top spot in the Best Remix and Best Single categories.

Thayer and Basskleph won for their collaborative remix of the Drumattic Twins’ single ‘Feelin Kinda Strange’, beating out stiff competition from the Stanton Warrios for their remix of the Gorillaz’s ‘Feel Good Inc’, while Dopamine picked up the coveted Best Single award for his breakthrough track ‘Hold You’, triumphing over Deekline & Wizard, the Stanton Warriors, the Freestylers & Pendulum and Vandal!
