Following 2 years in hibernation it looks like the world’s biggest dance party is set to return in 2006, with a date set for the Berlin Love Parade on July 15th. Perhaps spurred on by the recent win in the DJ Mag Top 100 poll by German trance legend Paul Van Dyk, the Love Parade went through a well publicised series of political and financial battles since the last event in 2003.

Changes to the festival this year include punters having the chance to vote on what DJs they’d like to see perform, as well as a greater focus on international artists. Paul Van Dyk will also be hosting his very own party the night before the parade titled Love From Above. The venue for the party is still to be determined, but rumours online suggest that it may be Columbia Halle.
