Bloc Party go night clubbing for a good cause

Bloc Party have announced plans to stage a special benefit gig at a London nightclub. The four-piece will play a live set at Fabric on March 16 to raise funds for an ill friend. Drummer Matt Tong said: “This gig is for a good cause and one we are happy to give our full support.”

Support for the concert will include DJ sets from Erol Alkan and ‘Silent Alarm’ producer Paul Epworth, plus a live set from New Young Pony Club. Tickets for the event priced at £20, are extremely limited but are available to members of the Bloc Party fan space, http://www.blocparty.com/marshals.
