As punters across the UK and Europe continue to wipe their eyes and wait for the sobbing subside with the announcement that the annual mud-fest Glastonbury won’t be happening again this year, Serbia’s Exit Festival is riding high as they scoop up the broken hearts and generously put them back together again, with the first line-up announcement for Exit 2006.
The first dance acts among the initial announcement include Tiga, Richie Hawtin and Dave Clarke, who’ll be joined by The Pet Shop Boys, Franz Ferdinand, Suzanne Vega and HIM.
The event takes place in the historical surroundings of the Petrovaradin Fortress, which boasts 18 performance arenas including a main stage, dance stage, extreme sports arena, technology zone, NGO zone, open air cinema and hot air ballooning. The fun kicks off on July 6 and runs through till July 9.
