V Festival fires up with further line-up announcements!

2006 is shaping up to be a big one on the global festival stage, and for a prime example look no further than the V Festival, which takes place in August in the UK. They have gone all out and even ventured as far as including the very unlikely Girls Aloud to mix it up a little on this year’s line up.

Other notable mentions on this year’s festival bill, include Bloc Party, We Are Scientists, The Cardigans, Phoenix, Razorlight, Faithless, Beck, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Bic Runga, Daniel Powter, Editors, The Ordinary Boys, Keane, Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, The Go! Team, The Charlatans, Starsailor, The Magic Numbers, Sugababes, Rufus Wainwright, The Saw Doctors and The Rifles, who’ll be joining headliners Morrissey and Radiohead.

V Festival is set to take place in Highlands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire between August 19-20. Tickets went onsale at the beginning of March and sold out in record time (a matter of hours!)
