Velvet Revolver are currently at work on their second major label album, with a rather unlikely producer on board to steer the project. That’s right, the hottest hit-making, hip hop producer about town, Mr Pharrell Williams is at the helm of the project!

It has also been confirmed that Williams is also working with the band’s singer Scott Weiland on a track called ‘Happy’, which is tagged to appear on the ex-Stone Temple Pilots singer’s second solo sojourn.

Word on when Pharrell’s own debut is set to hit the shelves hasn’t been confirmed as of yet though, but the super-producer recently divulged that he’s  about to hit the studio with Slim Thug, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, NAS and Ludacris.
