Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook recently revealed the full details of his planned upcoming greatest hits compilation. ‘Greatest Hits - Why Try Harder’ will be the title of the 18 track affair.

The greatest hits package is set to include all of the singles from Fatboy’s extensive back catalogue, but he’s also decided to spice things up a bit by adding two new tracks ‘Champion Sound’ and the forthcoming single ‘That Old Pair of Jeans’, along with his two favourite remixes under the Fatboy Slim moniker Cornershop’s ‘Brim Full of Asha’ and Groove Armada’s ‘I See You Baby’.

The package is currently set for a June 19 release, which will be preceeded by the release of his new single ‘That Old Pair of Jeans’ on June 12. There will also be a limited edition version of his greatest hits, which will be teamed with a dvd featuring 10 of his best videos, including Spike Jonze’s award-winning efforts for Praise You and Weapon of Choice.

A full DVD release is then planned for July 17, entitled ‘The Greatest Hits- Why Make Videos, featuring all of those memorable Fatboy video clips from years past.
