Coachella adds Kayne at the 11th hour!

The annual Coachella festival is set to kick off in Indio – the small desert town just outside Palm Springs in California – in just a matter of hours, but that didn’t stop the festival’s organisers from making a last minute addition. Kanye West has jumped aboard the bill!

This year’s Coachella line up really does have a little something for everybody, and for months now the line up has been getting people the world over excitedly planning trips to the US just to catch a glimpse of their favourite acts. It also managed to catch the wandering eye of hip hop’s golden boy Kanye West, who this week enquired as to why he wasn’t asked to play. Organisers of course responded by adding the Grammy award winning artist promptly to take up headlining duties with Tool, Franz Ferdinand and Daft Punk. West’s set will be taking place between Common and Sigur Ros, as the sun sets at 5.45pm.
