Madonna attacks Bush in festival 'debut'

As rumour and gossip continues to run rife following Coachella this past weekend, details have also emerged of some of the more highly anticipated live performances at the event. One of the most talked about being Madonna’s ‘festival debut’ (that is, of course, if you don’t include an appearance at Live 8 in the 80s).

The Queen of Pop kept punters waiting for over 20 minutes before she graced the stage to deafening applause. Her performance, however, proved to be well worth the wait (even though most only caught a glimpse of the starlet via big sceen) as she blasted through her swift six track set and even managed a snide attack on President Bush during ‘I Love New York’, as she dropped the line ‘Just go to Texas and suck George Bush’s dick!’

Her short-lived set (under 30 minutes – she was billed to play 50 minutes) consisted of:

I Love New York
Ray of Light
Let It Be
Everybody
