General Midi's remix and video competition

Attention both music and video producers! General Midi is in desperate need of your talents.

If you’re a remixer, and you’ve heard the remixes to ‘Good to Go’ but you think you can do a better job, then what’s stopping you? Try your hand at remixing this track and you could be promoted on the Distinct’ive site, MySpace & Midi’s website. In addition, the winning track will be included in a special General Midi digital remix album next year on iTunes, Beatport and digital stores around the world.

To enter you simply have to be a Distinct’ive member and download the parts to Good To Go from the Distinct’ive website (www.distinctiverecords.com). The competition closes on the 30th December and the winner will be announced in the New Year. Remixes should be submitted in 320kps mp3 or higher and either yousent or droploaded to: info@generalmidi.co.uk.

Similarly if you’re an aspiring music video producer, Midi also wants you to produce a music video for ‘Good to Go’ and it can be as weird and experimental as you like. The winning video will also be picked by Midi and will feature on the Distinct’ive site, MySpace & YouTube. To enter just go to Midi’s new YouTube page and submit your videe. This competition closes on the 30th December.
