Legendary techno don Jeff Mills is venturing into the fashion field with a new store called Gamma Player soon to open in Chicago. The project is headed by the Detroit producer/DJ and also his business partner Yoko Uozumi, who manages Mills’ Axis Record label.

Stocking collections from brands such as Gilles Rosier from Paris, Firma from Berlin, Bils from Turkey and Yoshiko Creation from Tokyo, Gamma Player will also showcase items created exclusively for the boutique. From ready to wear to haute couture each season will change to support new and emerging European labels.

As well as this, Mills will offer an Axis compilation for the opening. Titled ‘The Universe by Night’, the compilation will include material from Mills’ various projects and tracks that have never been released before in the U.S.

Gamma Player opens March 15 and is located at 2035 West Division, Chicago.
