Kid Kenobi and Hook N Sling’s monster collaboration ‘The Bump’ – originally release on Australian label Hussle, but recently picked up internationally by house label CR2 – has been doing massive things in dance charts across the UK, with universal acclaim being heaped on the track by DJs and the media.
DJs as diverse as Mylo, Fedde Le Grand, Laurent Garnier and Anthony Papa have all been playing it in their sets, with James Zabiela even using the record as his ‘encore’ track at recent gigs, saying that “the reaction is mental”.
As well as the positive response from DJs, the track has also scaled charts, including #1 on the Music Week Club Chart 03/03/07 (after achieving the Highest New Entry back in February), #1 on the Buzz Chart 24/01/07, #1 in iDJ Magazine’s February issue, and #6 on the Cool Cuts Chart.
