Kid Kenobi & MC Shureshock hit the slopes in Canada

The big boys of breakbeat and electro are once again heading back to the land of Kanooks and ice hockey for a whirlwind Canadian tour. They’ve already fielded such an overwhelming response to their sold out Whistler tour date that a second show has already been announced.

Kid Kenobi is fresh from the local and international success of his single The Bump, which saw him collaborate with Sydney DJ/producer colleague Hook n Sling, and he says he’s keen to get back over to Canada to serve up some hot tunes to his growing fanbase. And maybe squeeze in some snowboarding as well…

“The gigs in Canada are always amazing,” he says. “It might have something to do with the fact that it’s mainly homesick Aussies there…”
