Mark James is the biggest name in Australian dance music promotion, and he aint a half bad DJ either – he’ll be flying the flag at both Dance Valley and Global Gathering this year, two of the world’s largest dance events.

He’s no stranger to the big events – he regularly plays to 20,000+ crowds at his own events in Australia, but he says he was humbled when he was invited to play at the two iconic events. “I’ve played my share of huge festival gigs locally, but these two sets will no doubt be hands-down career highlights! I’m looking forward to flying the Aussie flag on the world stage,” he says.

Held in Spaarnwoude in the Netherlands, Dance Valley is a 50,000+ dance music festival that hosts some of the world’s biggest DJs for a massive two-day party. It’s played host to the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and this year’s event will see Mark James play alongside the likes of Judge Jules and Christopher Lawerence on the Continental Stage.

The UK’s Global Gathering festival is another highlight on the international clubbing calendar, again hosting over 50,000 punters over two days and across a whopping 15 stages at the Long Marston Airfield. Mark will play the closing set on day one at the Global Gathering Terrace.

Mark will be packing in July, so stay tuned to ITM for details on his European tour.
