David Guetta gets on the Microsoft payroll

The French king of cheese and the world’s most evil software empire have gotten into bed together, and the results are astounding and surprising… a crap novelty track! That’s right, David Guetta and Microsoft have hooked up in an unholy union to produce a tune that samples the sound that MSN makes when you’re sent an instant message. Ladies and gentleman, try to restrain your excitement.

While the new song Mix Messenger is apparently “hilarious” (I’m going off the super-enthused press release here), and we could talk about how it sets new standards in corporate dance music synergy, that’s all that ITM is going to say about it. It’s simply too naff to put into words so you’ll just have to take a listen yourself. Or not.

Click below to make your ears bleed by listening to the Guetta/Microsoft monstrosity, and stay tuned for Paul Oakenfold’s crappy remix of the Apple OSX bootup sound.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

This is nothing new, which doesnt suprise me taking into account the two parties at hand. Look up: Ricksick's - Messenger (Eric Lavelle's Club Mix) (Diamond recordz)! Now this is how to pull of a true messenger sample...

It could be worse, it could be sounds from Trillian. Does any still use Trillian? For those that dont, but did, you would remember the instant message sound it had, screaming "UHHH OHHHH". Which is just what im doing now listening to this msn bollocks. It

ok not as bad as i thought it was gonna be... if the messenger sound hadn't annoyed me within the first 2 seconds of using msn all those years ago, it might not hurt my ears so much now... :)

I wouldn't put it past Guetta that he made the track this cheesy and crap for a reason. He wants notoriety for his good stuff, not some tie-in with Microsoft. Give the man more credit. At least i hope so....
