Fresh off the back of touring the world with Nic Fanciulli as part of One+One (which of course, included a smashingly well received club and festival tour around Australia), technology wunderkid James Zabiela has been announced as the newest resident of one of New York’s biggest and best clubs Pacha.
Rob Fernandez, director of promotions at Pacha, says the club is excited to be bringing someone as gifted as James into the fold. “He is one of the standout artists at the forefront of new DJ/production talent and we hope that he can help inspire a new generation of clubbers and aspiring artists alike,” he says.
Of course, you can expect James to come equipped with his fully-loaded laptop, effects units, CDs, robot armies and whatever other tricky technology he decides to bring along (which may or may not be actual Daleks). He’s also got a brand new single out on Renaissance called Human which he describes as a “deeper and more emotional recording” than anything he’s ever put out before.
