As if Kanye West and 50 Cent’s recent invitation for Sneaky Sound System’s singer Connie Mitchell to contribute vocals to an upcoming collaboration wasn’t astounding enough, the impact Australia’s favourite electro-pop trio are having on mainstream artists continues to be felt around the world with the news that Kylie Minogue has asked the group to write a song for her forthcoming album.

Kylie is working with super-producer Stuart Price – aka Jacques Lu Cont/Thin White Duke, who also produced Madonna’s last album and was music director for her world tour – for her comeback LP. Earlier in 2007 she called on fast rising Scottish star Calvin Harris to contribute his talents to the eagerly anticipated pop release, and now she’s also spotted the talents of Australia’s own Sneaky crew, as their ability to write an infectious hook spreads around the globe!

It’s been a massive 12 months for Sneaky Sound System, with stadium support slots for Robbie Williams and the Scissor Sisters, as well as their debut album going platinum in sales. To celebrate the milestone they’ve re-released the LP with a limited edition series of t-shirts. Get thee to your local CD store while stocks last.
