Layo & Bushwacka! are up next in the long running Global Underground series with an eclectic mix of classics, lost gems and defining moments in the evolution of house and techno. well, not sure what to make of em atm, will be interesting to hear what it sounds like. i loved the album from last year, but just heard them in Germany, and for most seemed fairly sub-par minimal

I also saw them in Berlin the other weekend - at the Berghein. What an awesome venue. I think they faced a challenge in that the crowd in the main room is used to solid techno. They should have played in the panorama bar upstairs. Feet were moving to a different beat up there which I daresay would have helped the vibe of their set.
