Sick to death of Tom pretending to be your “friend”? Well now there’s another reason to dislike him… He’s been lying about his age all this time! This whole MySpace thing just keeps getting more and more sordid…

Tom Anderson, the founder of MySpace, isn’t quite as youthful as he would have us believe. Newsweek Magazine reported that Anderson has been lying about his age ever since launching the site back in 2003. While his MySpace profile lists his age as 32, according to Newsweek he will actually be turning the ripe old age of 37 next week. That means that he would have been a 32 year-old when the site launched, not the ingenious 27 year-old wunderkid entrepreneur that he led us to believe.

Ahh well, at least he’s loaded. Anderson and his business partner sold the social networking site to Rupert Murdoch and his News Corp empire for nearly $US600 million two years ago. Anderson is also alleged to have just inked another two-year deal with News Corp that will see him and his MySpace co-founder Chris Dewolfe earning $US15 million each.

I’m off to delete Tom from my friends list, I just feel so betrayed…

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!

I think this is interesting, why all the complaints? Social networking sites have always been criticized of being too anonymous, and it's ironic that MySpace founder Tom Anderson (of all people) lying about his age. It's a news article and informing you o

Not every single news article has to be entertaining and full of absolute meaningfulness, or life-changing. If you want that go watch E News or Fox News, and pay $30 a month for it. Otherwise, stop being so arrogant for free information that you have a ri
