Horrific footage of the aftermath to a shooting at a Carl Cox gig in Caracas has surfaced on the web today, with reports indicating that 4 people were murdered and 9 injured. There’s been no official news reports following the shooting, but forum messageboards around the world are abuzz after footage was posted on YouTube by the night’s VJ.
Cox was headlining the event, called Red Noise, at La Rinconada Terrace in Caracas, Venezuela. The VJ reports that Cox was only 10 minutes into his set when an unknown man opened fire, the gun making a noise that sounded to him “like firecrackers”. He reports seeing 3 bodies on the floor immediately following the shooting.
YouTube footage of the horrible incident has now been removed. We’ll bring you updates on the full story once news reports surface.

ianfinch4 I disagree man, posting the video allows those who wish to be properly informed to watch the footage for themselves. I think those who don't wish to view it will refrain from viewing the video.

Chill people, i agree... very much with you guys n gals that it good to know and see what is really going on and that you have a choice on viewing it... but to be truthful I am still a bit shocked from seeing the video... very disturbing... the footage was a murder scene with people dying on the floor after someone had just massicred 4 innocent people and hurt more, reality is it wasnt acting like Die hard 4.... point taken anyway... all up for free speach and free footage and inthemix know what they can air and what they cant...!!! Peace dudes and dudettes!!!!

This carp seems to be happening more and more, even in Aus! How many gang/drug murders have there been lately in/outside clubs. Not just in Sydney/Melbourne either. Happened in Wollongong just the other month! Fcukd up! I wonder whether Governments will start looking at which is worse, people on drugs dying, or drug dealers killing people to make more money? If more people die over drug deals as opposed to taking, isn't that a pro of legalisation? No idea if it is ture tho... If you watched the video from the dailyswarm, even just the start, before it gets graphic, Carl Cox reacts in such a real way, shots go off... he doesn't realise what it was, like a lot of people there (there had previously been fireworks that sounded similar), then a couple of seconds later some one tells him, he's shocked and then he hides. Really makes you think about something you'd rather not think too much about.
