Boy George (George O’ Dowd) has been arrested and charged with false imprisonment following an incident that happened earlier this year where he was accused of chaining up a male model to a wall in his home…
According to reports in the UK paper the Sun, the ‘model’ Auden Karlsen, alleged Boy George tied him up when he visited the pop singer’s house for a photo shoot.
O’Dowd was initially taken into custody when Auden filed a complaint with local authorities back in April, but it wasn’t until yesterday that UK police formally charged the singer with “false imprisonment of a 28-year-old male at an address in Ravey Street on the 28 April 2007”.
The former pop icon was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on November 22. Last year O’Dowd donned an orange jumpsuit for five days when he served a community service order as a street cleaner in NYC after facing charges of drug possession in the New York courts…
