Following a disastrous show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, Amy Winehouse has mercifully called her UK tour short.

The singer has cancelled all her live dates and promotional appearances for the rest of 2007. In a statement, she admits to being unable to perform without her currently incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, close by.

“I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake,” she writes. “I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”
