Wired News has named 2007’s most-traded songs in the world of peer-to-peer file-sharing networks.
In order to collate the information, Wired News went to BigChampagne Online Media Measurement, a Los Angeles-based firm which tracks media-consumption trends across all digital channels – legal and otherwise. The study concentrated solely on P2P traffic, taking into account networks like BitTorrent, Gnutella and eDonkey.
So here’s what file-sharers had the hots for this year. Are any of these lurking on your hard-drive?
1. Shop Boyz – Party Like A Rock Star
2. Akon – I Wanna Luv U
3. Sean Kingston – Beautiful Girls
4. Mims – This Is Why I’m Hot
5. Akon – Don’t Matter
6. T-Pain – Bartender
7. Soulja Boy – Crank Dat Soulja Boy
8. Justin Timberlake – My Love
9. DJ Unk – Walk It Out
10. Jim Jones – We Fly High
