Cologne’s resident anthem-maker Tocadisco had such a ball playing Famous in Australia last December, he’s included footage from the gig in his new music video.
The song in question is Shrine, featuring Get Physical favoured crooner Chelonis R. Jones. Club mixes have come from a very diverse bunch, including Extrawelt, Audiofly, Crookers and Tocadisco himself, but the original is straight-up pop. On his MySpace blog, the producer has posted an extensive list of comments from DJs and radio jocks rating the track. They range from the gushing (“Big peaktime electro smasher!!!!” – Tim Deluxe) to the perplexing (“a CDR is always welcome” – DJ Hell).
Anyway, here’s the Australian-shot video for Shrine. Can you spot yourself?
