Currently doing the national rounds with the Future Music Festival, house survivor John Digweed has unveiled the latest entry in his Transitions series. Following the 3am-suited Transitions 3, part four is, in the DJ’s own words, “the most intense and intrinsic yet.”

One glance at the track-list reveals Diggers hasn’t dropped the ball. The 73 -minute running time condenses 22 records into 10 tracks, ensuring this outing is as intricately programmed as ever.

In ‘trackmarking’ this way I am able to highlight the unique qualities of the mix,” the man writes on his website. “Whilst it hopefully retains that signature Digweed sound, I’ve used modern production techniques to create an album that’s unlike anything you’ll ever hear me do in a club.”

A suite of burgeoning talent is showcased throughout the mix, including Henry Saiz, Myers Briggs and Infusion’s Jamie Stevens – with both an original production and a remix. Transitions 4 should surface in mid-April. Stay tuned for updates.
